Chief Happiness Officer: This is a blog by a man who makes his living by showing businesses how to make their employees happy at work. His site includes articles such as "Top 10 excuses for staying in a bad job".He also has a free e-book on his site called "Happy Hour is 9 to 5" which is a practical guide of making yourself and others happy at work.
10 reasons you should never get a job: If you're thinking about quitting your job and starting a business this blog by Steve Pavlina is for you. His site focuses on personal development but there are lots of interesting articles about making the most of your career.
Useful websites
www.prospects.ac.uk: This site is aimed at people who have a degree but I don't see why it wouldn't be useful for other
people as well. There is an free online assessment you can do called "Which job would suit me?". The quiz looks at your qualifications, skills and knowledge and after completion provides suggestions of jobs which would be suitable for you. You can explore explore different occupations indepth and it gives information on how to enter the profession. I used it when I was thinking of changing my career and it was very, very helpful
